The Device Manager shows, "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)."Estimated Reading Time: 6 mins.  · The error is Code 39 and reads (even after attempted “fixes” described below): “Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) Object Name not found.” Drive nomenclatures are as follows: (Drive 1) ATAPI iHAS B (with Driver Version , dated 6/21/). The error code 39 arises due to corrupted, outdated or incompatible device drivers which is caused by corrupt registry entries. This particular issues also occur if you have recently upgraded your Windows, you have installed or uninstalled CD or DVD software or drivers, or if you have uninstalled Microsoft Digital Image etc.
